Day 10 – Missoula to Avon

It happened to be one of the best rides of the trip so far. The temp was just right and the scenery was beautiful riding into Avon and the whole ride had a slight tailwind (It’s not uncommon to find the riders in better moods with a tailwind). During the last 15 miles it began to rain just a bit to cool us off and not so much as to make us miserable. The rain dissipated when we reached camp and decided to not set up our tents since there was a cabin that can house about 20 of us. Some chose to camp it, while the others chose to bunk it. Each having their drawbacks, camping you obviously have to setup it up and take it down. Bunking, you have to share with other people and had to deal with Simon’s mad gas problem. The dude farts, seeps through his sleeping bag and slowly creeps to the other side of the room. I felt bad for chad because he shared bunks with him.

a game of horseshoes (me and chad)

g-reg and chad haven't been struck by the simon-stink-bomb yet
